Founded in 2004 in the Netherlands, the company has grown its presence across the UK, DACH and BeNeLux regions, as well as internationally, to become a market leading digital omnichannel execution and software specialist, maximising behavioural change on behalf of its global pharma and biotech clients who span on more than 60 countries globally. To ensure future growth and to build, establish and lead our client's growth agenda within the DACH region, we are now exclusively looking for an experienced, innovative, pro-active and highly digitally- and entrepreneurially-minded personality to fill the position Client Project Director DACH*.

ARE YOU ATTRACTED BY THESE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS?

The Client Project Director DACH has accountability to deliver high quality projects from initiation to embedding results whilst continuously identifying and converting business development opportunities to achieve revenue targets.

The position’s main responsibilities include, without being limited to, the following:

Business Development

  • Achieve revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities, including new clients, their business needs and services to target
  • Create and execute business development account plans including objectives, timeframes, stakeholders and business development activities
  • Generate leads with prospective customers
  • Conduct sales interactions with prospective clients
  • Utilise power of SalesForce to facilitate effective account management
  • Update SalesForce daily for all BD tasks
  • Ensure each client communication seeks BD opportunities

General business leadership 

  • Cost control of project work 
  • Deliver the sales targets of PD owned accounts (once RM! GM has allocated sales targets) 
  • Embed RM! core values and culture of BD across project teams 
  • Transition new business to the delivery team and remain as the client contact through completion of the project 
  • Ensure all staff have annual performance reviews 
  • Hold coaching sessions at least quarterly with line reports 

Operational excellence 

  • Deliver operational excellence for projects under PD remit through effective coaching and second line management of Business Leaders 
  • Ensure all SOPs are adhered to

YOUR EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATION FROM OUR PERSPECTIVE

Ideally, the position requires a successfully completed university degree, preferably in business administration or natural sciences. The successful candidate will have 7+ years Pharma experience in house or consultancy with proven sales track record including complex account and matrix management roles.

We believe, that the successful job holder should have the following capabilities:

  • Gravitas – to be able to deliver sensitive results to senior leaders 
  • Interpersonal awareness – to interact, challenge, advise and deliver 
  • Networking ability – at high levels, and be credible when interacting with senior pharma staff
  • Leadership & ability to Coach 
  • Ambitious & Tenacious with the ability to work independently but a good team player
  • Organisational skills to a high level 
  • Level Headed – to stay calm under pressure, prioritise and deliver
  • Sense of humour – to help diffuse potentially tense situations
  • Presentation skills to a very high standard 
  • Fluent in German and English is a must criterion
